This Week in Nighthawk Athletics Volume 13: November 22

DAHLONEGA - The University of North Georgia Department of Athletics previews Thanksgiving week that sees both basketball teams on the road to start the week before the men play at home Saturday afternoon. This season's weekly preview is presented by Northeast Georgia Health System, the official healthcare partner of UNG Nighthawk Athletics.

Single game and season tickets are available for all home events. All home events will be broadcast live courtesy of the Nighthawk Sports Network

The No. 5 Nighthawks went 3-0 last week, defeating Benedict on the road before winning both games of the UNG Nighthawk Classic against Delta State and Montevallo.
UNG will be on the road Tuesday evening as they take on Gulf South foe West Georgia. The Wolves are 1-1 on the year, falling to Montevallo by 10 and defeating Clark Atlanta in overtime by four.
UNG went 1-1 in the Ross Morkem Memorial, falling to Union before knocking off No. 24 Lee in the classic's finale Saturday behind a 30 point performance from Frank Champion.
North Georgia will be on the road Tuesday night at Auburn Montgomery before coming home Saturday for a 3:30 p.m. tip against Southern Wesleyan. The Warhawks are 1-3 on the year, while the Warriors are 2-1 headed into their Conference Carolinas opener against Belmont Abbey Tuesday.
