Women's Soccer Falls in PBC Semifinal to No. 7 Columbus State

EVANS, Ga. - The University of North Georgia women's soccer team fell in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament semifinals to No. 7 Columbus State Friday evening, 1-0.

After a scoreless first half, Columbus State found the match's only goal in the 54th minute when Anna Grady scored off a ball that went through both Lauren Barnes and Maria Kilset. UNG didn't get many chances to attack in the second half as the Cougar defense earned them a spot in the championship match Sunday.

- Sierra Fowler made 13 saves on the day, tying the single game program record held by Mary Canon-Williams. Her 13-save performance came against Columbus State on September 21, 2005.
