No. 20 Baseball Falls in Series Finale

DAHLONEGA - No. 8 Georgia College put up five runs in the top of the first inning, which ended up being more than enough to finish off a Peach Belt Conference sweep of the No. 20 University of North Georgia baseball team, winning 13-1 Sunday afternoon.

The Bobcats five homers in the game, including two in the first and one in each of the third, fifth and seventh innings. GC scored the first 11 runs of the game before Crews Taylor got North Georgia on the board in the eighth with a solo homer, his seventh long ball of the season, to cut the lead to 11-1.

Georgia College pushed two more across in the ninth inning to bring the game to its final score.
