YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. - Two Nighthawks finished with double-doubles as the No. 11 University of North Georgia women's basketball team took down Young Harris, 70-56, Wednesday night.
The Mountain Lions jumped out to a 6-2 lead with a trio of players getting onto the scoreboard before the Nighthawks went on a 7-0 run to take the lead. After trading buckets for the rest of the first quarter, the Nighthawks went on a quick 5-0 run to start the second period, giving them the lead for good.
The UNG lead got to as many as 15 in the second half before Young Harris cut the lead down in the fourth quarter to as few as eight early in the period, but the Nighthawks answered by stretching it to 16, putting the game out of reach.

Julianne Sutton notched her fourth double-double of the season, putting up a game-high 23 points and 11 rebounds, while
Abbie Franklin earned her third career double-double with 11 points and 10 boards.

Macey Gregg each added double figure points with 13 and 10, respectively.
- The Nighthawks fired at a 51 percent clip from the floor, the second-highest field goal percentage of the year given up by YHC.
