DAHLONEGA - The No. 12 University of North Georgia women's tennis team celebrated Senior Day in style as they comprehensively beat Georgia Southwestern, 7-0, to extend their Peach Belt Conference record to 5-1 on the year.

Holly Bennett and
Lexa Loden were all honored for their four years of playing at North Georgia, and they led UNG to an easy victory on Sunday. Loden partnered with
Cibeles Zuddy to win the first doubles match, 6-1, and the doubles point was clinched shortly afterwards when Bennett and
Vaishali Jorge also won, 6-1, at the No. 1 spot.
Etelalahti was handed a starting berth in the singles lineup on her Senior Day, and turned up for it, finishing first out of all matches to win, 6-0, 6-0 in what was an impressive win. Bennett played at No. 1 singles, and won convincingly, 6-0, 6-1. The match was clinched by
Adrienne Bofinger, and Loden also won her singles match, winning 6-1, 7-6.
The women return to the courts on Wednesday where they play Georgia College at the UNG Tennis Complex. Play is set to begin at 3 p/m.
