DAHLONEGA - The University of North Georgia tennis teams take on two Peach Belt Conference foes on the road this week, battling Lander and Francis Marion this weekend.

Schedule Updates: Senior Day will be on April 7 as the Nighthawks take on Georgia Southwestern in the final home match where both teams will be in action. The women's matchup with Georgia College has been rescheduled for April 10 in Dahlonega.

Rankings: The women are currently ranked No. 14 in the nation, down four spots from a week ago. Vaishali Jorge is the No. 9 singles player in the nation, while Holly Bennett is ranked No. 71. Adrienne Bofinger and Emma Etelalahti are the No. 25 doubles duo in the nation. The men are now ranked No. 10 by the ITA with Jess Jones earning national rankings in singles as well. Jones is No. 55 in the nation.

Last Week: The women went 2-1 last week, downing Young Harris and Newberry but falling to No. 23 Queens. The men also went 2-1 on the week, shutting out Young Harris before falling to No. 24 Queens the next day. UNG bounced back with a 6-1 win over Newberry.

Lander Scout: Lander's women are 5-11 and 0-4 in Peach Belt play this season. Eduarda Ferreira and Isabella Schulz are the No. 39 doubles duo in the nation. Lander's men come into the Saturday showdown as No. 4 in the nation, going 11-3 and 3-1 in conference action this season. The Bearcats have two doubles duos in the top 50 nationally (Cildir/El-Moslemany at No. 33 and Groner/Cildir at No. 44).

Francis Marion Scout: Francis Marion's women are the No. 48 team in the nation, coming into the weekend at 11-5 and 1-3 in league play. Francis Marion's men are No. 26 in the nation. They are 8-6 overall and 0-4 in league play. The Patriots have one duo ranked in Anth-Forsberg/ Hutchings at No. 25.
