ORLANDO - The University of North Georgia women's tennis team cruised through their final match of the Spring Break trip, making light work of Bluefield State this morning to win, 4-0.
The No. 2 and No. 3 doubles proved too strong for Bluefield, both winning their matches without dropping a single game.
Emma Etelalahti and
Adrienne Bofinger won first at No. 2 doubles and
Lexa Loden and
Cibeles Zuddy put the Nighthawks ahead with a 6-0 victory of their own.
With the doubles point secured, the singles lineup went to work in business like fashion.
Adrienne Bofinger won at No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-0, and was backed up convincingly by Claudelle Labonte Frey at No. 5 (6-0, 6-1) and
Lexa Loden at No. 6 (6-0, 6-1). Loden also secured the clinch of the match.
UNG now sit at 10-1 for the season and will play next March 23 on the road at Young Harris. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
