PENSACOLA, Fla. - Four Nighthawks finished with multiple hits as the No. 4 University of North Georgia baseball team bested No. 25 West Florida Tuesday night, 8-4.
Nik Levensteins got things started in the top of the first with a RBI single that scored two runs.
Conner Corbitt knocked home a third run in the inning with a double to left center to put UNG up, 3-0.
After West Florida cut the lead to two in the bottom of the first, the Nighthawks scored again in the fourth on a
Crews Taylor RBI single that plated
Jake Arnold and extended the lead back to three.
North Georgia lit up the scoreboard again in the fifth on an Arnold bases-clearing double that scored two Nighthawks, making the score 6-1. The Argos made a run at the lead in the bottom of the frame but could only score three runs to cut the lead back to a 6-4 game. UNG scored a run in the sixth on a Josh Profit sacrifice fly and a run in the seventh on an Arnold single to bring the game to its final score.

- Arnold led the Nighthawks at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a run scored and three RBI. Taylor, Levensteins,
Chase Sudduth and
Nick Clarno also had a multi-hit game, each recording two hits.
- North Georgia drew seven walks in the game and had two batters hit by a pitch.
