No. 24 Women's Basketball Puts Up Second-Highest Offensive Output in Program History in 113-59 Win

DAHLONEGA - Tamera Thorpe and Imani Arnold each recorded new career highs as the No. 24 University of North Georgia women's basketball team put up the second-most points in a single game in program history in a 113-59 win over Georgia College Saturday afternoon.

The Bobcats led the game early at 5-2, but an 18-3 UNG run gave the Nighthawks full control of the game. UNG scored at least 26 points in every quarter.

NOTES
- Thorpe finished with a game-high 30 points, while Arnold tallied 20 off the bench. Amber Skidgel added 19 points, while Julianne Sutton got her sixth double-double of the season with 18 points and 12 rebounds.

- North Georgia's 113 points marks the most points scored in a single game inside the UNG Convocation Center. It is also the second-most points scored in a single game in program history, trailing a 2002 matchup against Southern Wesleyan where North Georgia scored 115 points.

- UNG assisted on 34 of 42 made buckets, setting a new single-game record for dishes.

- Prior to tipoff, the UNG women's basketball program honored Skidgel, Thorpe and Amber Skidgel on Senior Day.

North Georgia will battle Lander on Wednesday night inside the UNG Convocation Center. The winner will assure themselves at least a share of the Peach Belt Conference regular season championship. Tip time is set for 5:30 p.m.
