FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. - The No. 15 University of North Georgia women's basketball team trailed just twice in the game as the Nighthawks pushed past Lees-McRae, 79-53, Saturday.
The Bobcats led by two points twice in the first quarter before North Georgia ran off and outscored LMC by 22 points in the final three quarters of play.
NOTES
- 11 Nighthawks finished in the scoring column, led by three with 14 points.
Faith Arthur,
Kara Groover and
Julianne Sutton each scored 14 with Arthur pulling down seven boards.

Kyra Davis finished just short of a double-double, scoring nine points and eight rebounds.
- The Nighthawks outscored the Bobcats in the paint, 34-16.
