DAHLONEGA - Katey Derkay scored two goals in under two minutes as the No. 18 University of North Georgia women's soccer team finished Peach Belt play with a 3-1 win over Albany State Saturday afternoon at the UNG Soccer Complex.

Derkay's first goal came off a pass from Taylor Malasek in the 12th minute, and then, two minutes later, Malasek found Rosie Embley in the 18 who pushed the ball to Derkay to double the Nighthawk lead.

North Georgia found paydirt again in the 31st minute when Dani Shartouny scored a breakaway goal by chipping it past the keeper to give UNG a 3-0 lead into halftime. ASU found a goal in the 88th minute to bring the match to its final score.
