Game Preview: The University of North Georgia men's soccer team takes on two non-conference opponents this week on home turf as the Warriors of Southern Wesleyan and the Falcons of Montevallo come to Dahlonega for two non-conference matchups this week.

Nighthawks on the Web: Fans can follow both matches at home live on the Internet via live stats (UNGAthletics.com) and via web stream on YouTube or Facebook Live through the Nighthawk Sports Network. Fans can also follow the action through Twitter by following the men's soccer team (@UNGMSOC).

Last Week: North Georgia went unbeaten (1-0-1) last week after drawing with Tampa and defeating Anderson. Matt Sharman made 17 saves to set a new UNG single game record against Tampa in a 4-4 draw. Adam Farrell and Prince Domafriyie each scored to push the Nighthawks past Anderson, 2-1, Saturday night in the home opener.

Scouting Southern Wesleyan: The Warriors are 1-3 on a season that includes shutout losses to Young Harris and Francis Marion. SWU is, however, coming off of a 3-2 win over Lees-McRae this past weekend.

Series Versus Southern Wesleyan: Wednesday will be the tenth meeting between the two sides with the Nighthawks leading, 5-3-1. North Georgia won at SWU last season, 2-1.

Scouting Montevallo: The Falcons are 1-2 on the season as they prepare to take on Palm Beach Atlantic Tuesday night. They are being outscored 7-2 this season including two shutout losses.

Series Versus Montevallo: The Nighthawks trail Montevallo in the series with the Falcons winning nine of the 13 matches. The two teams have played every year since North Georgia joined NCAA Division II. UNG has won the last two meetings in Dahlonega without conceding a goal on the home pitch.

Farrell Named Nighthawk of the Week: Farrell was named the Einstein's Nighthawk of the Week Monday morning after scoring twice on the week. Both goals were from the penalty spot. He has now tied Daniel Bowlt's career record for PKs in a career. Farrell is 6-for-6 in his career.
