DAHLONEGA - The No. 2 University of North Georgia softball team is set to host its annual Cancer Awareness Day on Saturday at Haines and Carolyn Hill Stadium as the Nighthawks take on Augusta in Peach Belt Conference play.

Due to forecasted weather later in the afternoon, the start time for the doubleheader has been moved up to 12 noon instead of 1 p.m. as originally scheduled.

The Nighthawks will be wearing their pink uniforms and encourage fans to do so as well. In between games, UNG will ask any fans that would like to represent either themselves or someone they know that has taught us all how to fight and continue to fight the battle.
