DAHLONEGA – Four members of the University of North Georgia (UNG) softball team earned Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Southeast Region honors, headlined by
Sydnee Reaves being named the Southeast Region Player of the Year.
Reaves and
Chloe Poss were both named to the D2CCA All-Southeast Region First Team, while
Kayla Berry and
Marycille Brumby earned second team recognition.
Reaves added another accolade to a historic 2026 campaign after also being named the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year. The senior hit .440 on the season with 91 hits in 207 at bats while recording 47 extra-base hits, including 26 doubles and 20 home runs. She drove in 81 runs and added 22 stolen bases in 25 attempts.
Poss anchored the Nighthawks' pitching staff with a 24-5 record and a 2.25 ERA across 199 innings pitched. The right-hander threw 13 complete games, collected three saves and struck out 157 batters during the season.
Berry earned second team honors after batting .404 while appearing in 58 games with 57 starts. She totaled 65 hits and finished the year with a .520 on-base percentage.
Brumby was also named to the second team after hitting .325 with 55 hits in 54 games played and started. She added 11 home runs during the 2026 season.
