LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Four members of the No. 3 University of North Georgia (UNG) softball team earned 2026 National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II All-Southeast Region honors, the NFCA announced Friday.
Pitcher Chloe Poss and outfielder Sydnee Reaves were named to the Southeast Region First Team, while outfielder Kayla Berry and designated player Carleigh Knowles earned second-team recognition.
The NFCA Division II All-Region teams are comprised of 205 student-athletes from 108 programs across the association's eight regions. Honorees were selected through voting by NFCA member head coaches from each respective region and are now eligible for selection to the 2026 NFCA Division II All-America teams.
Poss added another accolade to a standout season after being named the Peach Belt Conference Pitcher of the Year and a First Team All-PBC selection earlier this month. The right-hander led the PBC in ERA (1.85), wins (22), strikeouts looking (53) and saves (2). She also ranked second in the conference with 138 strikeouts while finishing third in opposing batting average (.207) and innings pitched (166.2).
Reaves, the 2026 PBC Player of the Year and a First Team All-PBC selection, turned in one of the top offensive seasons in the region. The junior led the conference in slugging percentage (.890), OPS (1.408), runs scored (58), hits (78), RBI (67), doubles (22), home runs (17) and at-bats (172). She also ranked second in batting average (.453) and on-base percentage (.518) while placing fifth in stolen bases with 22.
Berry collected second-team honors after batting .400 on the season, second-best on the team. The outfielder ranked among the PBC leaders in batting average, on-base percentage (.512), runs scored (49) and walks (27).
Knowles also earned second-team recognition following a strong offensive campaign. The designated player hit .362 with a .685 slugging percentage and a 1.110 OPS while ranking among the conference leaders in runs scored (41), RBI (42), doubles (21) and home runs (9).
