PEMBROKE, N.C. - Rilee Seering scored her only goal of the season in overtime as UNC Pembroke pushed past the University of North Georgia women's soccer team Tuesday afternoon, 1-0.
The Braves came out quick in the first half of play, firing nine shots toward frame and forcing
Hannah Goudy to make four big saves to keep the match level. After halftime, UNG put forth the most pressure, shooting 11 times on UNCP's goal but only putting one shot on frame.
In overtime, after an initial push by the Nighthawks, Christine Rolfes put in a cross from the right side of the field, finding Seering who went back post for the golden goal.
NOTES
- UNG is winless in its last three overtime games, going 0-2-1 dating back to last year's loss to Flagler.

Taylor Malasek took seven shots on the day to lead UNG.
- North Georgia must get a point in the final match of the season to ensure a home quarterfinal match next week in the PBC tournament.
