LEXINGTON, Ky. - Ruthanne Conner finished in ninth place overall as the No. 19 University of North Georgia rifle team competed against No. 3 Kentucky and No. 16 Memphis. The Nighthawks shot a 4599, finishing in third place.

Conner's 574 in the smallbore was just nine points off the top spot in the discipline, while her 585 in the air rifle was good for eighth place overall as well. Tobin Sanctuary shot a season high in the air rifle with a 576.

Eric Azotea also shot well Saturday, firing a personal best in smallbore.

North Georgia will have two weeks to prepare for a SoCON matchup against Wofford on February 10. UNG has just two matches left before the SoCON Championships in March.
