DAHLONEGA – The No. 19 University of North Georgia (UNG) rifle team had two shooters selected to the Southern Conference (SoCon) 2025 All-Conference Teams the league office announced Tuesday.

Junior Maya Cameron earned a spot on the All-Southern Conference Smallbore Second Team. This marks Cameron's fourth all-conference selection in her three years in Dahlonega. She has now earned two Smallbore selections and two Air Rifle selections.

Joining Cameron on the All-SoCon Smallbore Second Team was freshman Alison Sutherlin. The rookie made headlines as she was also named to the All-SoCon Air Rifle First Team.

Sutherlin had one of the more impressive freshman seasons in recent memory for the Nighthawks. 

She paired her all-conference selections in both Smallbore and Air Rifle with the 2025 SoCon Co-Freshman of the Year award earlier in the season.

This marks the ninth consecutive season UNG has had at least one selection to both the Smallbore and Air Rifle all-conference teams.
