DAHLONEGA – Freshman
Abbie Franklin continued her hot shooting from beyond the arc as she led the No. 21 University of North Georgia team to an 85-69 win over Lander Wednesday night in Memorial Hall.
After a tightly contested first half finished with the Nighthawks up by just two, North Georgia pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring the Bearcats by nine points in the frame.
In the fourth, UNG stretched its lead to as many as 19 points on the way to the Nighthawks' ninth consecutive win.
Franklin finished with a career high 19 points, netting four three pointers in the process.

- Lander's Destinee Langford paced the Bearcats with a team high 18 points on 5-of-15 shooting.
- North Georgia shot 59.3 percent from the floor, the second highest shooting performance of the season. That mark trails a 59.4% shooting night against Augusta 11 days ago.
