DAHLONEGA | Abbie Franklin shot a three-pointer as time expired and, as the buzzer sounded, the ball went through the net to give the No. 25 University of North Georgia women's basketball team a 67-64 win over Georgia College Saturday afternoon in Memorial Hall. The Nighthawks are now on an eight-game winning streak and are 14-2 overall.
Neither team led by more than seven points in the game. UNG got the ball with 25 seconds remaining and held for the final shot.
Mackenzie Darrah kicked the ball out to Franklin with three seconds left, just enough time for her to get the shot off before the clock hit zero.
