Women's Basketball Wins Seventh Straight in 66-56 Win Over Flagler

DAHLONEGA - Despite a near triple-double from Flagler's Tabitha Odabe, the University of North Georgia women's basketball team led for all but 1:21 of Monday's contest in a 66-56 win over the Saints in Memorial Hall. The Nighthawks claimed sole possession of first place in the Peach Belt Conference with the win, improving to 8-1 in the league.

The Nighthawks trailed momentarily at a 50-49 score with 7:15 left in the fourth quarter. From there, UNG went on a 17-8 run to finish the game, forcing five Saint turnovers in the process to earn the Peach Belt win.

NOTES
- Amber Skidgel led the way with a game-high 19 points. Mackenzie Darrah added 11, while Vanessa Agrusa put up 10 points. Deana Blankinship contributed eight points and nine rebounds.

- Flagler's Odabe finished with eight points, 11 blocks and 23 rebounds.

- North Georgia held Flagler without a three pointer in the game. It was the first time this season that the Saints did not hit a three in a game.
