DAHLONEGA - Freshman
Julianne Sutton scored a career-high 24 points on a 12-of-13 shooting performance to lead the University of North Georgia women's basketball team past Augusta, 96-55, Saturday afternoon in Memorial Hall. The Nighthawks, who are receiving votes in the latest D2SIDA national poll, are now 12-2 overall and 7-1 in Peach Belt play.
The freshman from Flowery Branch played just 21 minutes and pulled down a team-high six rebounds. The Nighthawks took the lead for good at the 4:30 mark in the first quarter on an
Amber Skidgel three pointer and never looked back en route to the win.
NOTES
- UNG recorded a school-record 29 assists, breaking the previous record of 27 assists, set twice in 2013. Four Nighthawks were credited with four assists each to lead the team.

Mackenzie Darrah had her 10th double-figure performance of the season, contributing 14 points, while Skidgel put up 13 points. North Georgia put 12 players in the scoring column in the win.
- The Nighthawks are now riding a six-game winning streak, the longest of the season to date. UNG went on two six-game winning streaks last season.
