Tom Williams has announced the Nighthawks' 2017 schedule of meets, highlighted by the fifth annual UNG Invitational on September 16 on the Gainesville campus.
Last season, the Nighthawks won one meet outright and finished runners-up in four meets, including the Peach Belt Championship. UNG finished in fifth place at the NCAA Southeast Regional meet.
This season, UNG will start the season at the JSU Strut's Season Opener on September 1 in Oxford, Alabama. After hosting the fifth annual UNG Invitational, UNG will head to Columbus State to take part in the 14th annual Columbus State Cougar Invitational on September 23.
The final regular season meet will give the Nighthawks a chance to defend their title from last season in the Georgia College Bobcat Invitational on October 6 in Milledgeville, Georgia.
The postseason starts on October 21 at the PBC Championships hosted by Columbus State.
