DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The No. 36 University of North Georgia women's tennis team blanked King (Tenn.), 9-0, on Friday afternoon at the UNG Tennis Complex at Yahoola Creek Park in the Nighthawks' final home match of the 2017 season.
The Nighthawks improve to 19-4 on the season while King falls to 2-15.
The victory marks the eighth time that UNG has won 9-0 this season.

Kathrin Waidner breezed in the top singles line to grab her school-record 20
th victory of the season.
Karina Gurgenyan slid up to No. 2 singles and eased to a 6-0, 6-1 win.
The program's two seniors were honored in a pre-match ceremony for their service to the UNG women's tennis program.
The Nighthawks will hit the road to Savannah for the regular season finale tomorrow (Apr. 15) with a Peach Belt Conference match at No. 4 Armstrong State. First serves are set for 2:00 p.m. at the Armstrong Tennis Complex.
