DAHLONEGA, Ga. – For the fourth consecutive match, the No. 18 University of North Georgia men's tennis team blanked the opposition as the Nighthawks shut out Tusculum, 9-0, on Friday afternoon at the UNG Tennis Complex at Yahoola Creek Park.
North Georgia jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the doubles courtesy of matching 8-1 victories in the top and third lines and a hard-fought 9-7 win by 
Andre Canino and 
Lukas Moritzen in the middle match.
The Nighthawks went on to post straight set wins in four of the six singles lines led by 7
th-ranked 
Niklas Zielen and 16
th-ranked 
Alexander Reinauer jumping to quick victories in the top two singles lines.
UNG improves to 4-0 overall on the season while Tusculum falls to 4-2.
North Georgia returns to the courts on Friday, Feb. 24 when the Nighthawks travel to Americus to open up Peach Belt Conference play at Georgia Southwestern.
