AUGUSTA, Ga. - Every University of North Georgia women's basketball player that entered Tuesday afternoon's game finished with points in the scoring column as the Nighthawks held on late for a 91-81 win over Augusta at AU's Christenberry Fieldhouse. The Nighthawks are now 7-2 overall and 2-1 in league play.
UNG led by as many as 22 points with 3:16 to play in the third quarter before the Jags clawed back to cut the lead to as few as five with 42 seconds to play. The Nighthawks five of their final six free throws to help ice the game and secure the 10-point win.

Deana Blankinship led North Georgia with 19 points and eight rebounds.
Mackenzie Darrah and
Amber Skidgel also contributed double-figure points, adding 18 and 15, respectively.
- The Nighthawks shot exactly 50 percent from the field (34-of-68) and assisted on 21 of the 34 made baskets.
Vanessa Agrusa led the team in assists with six.
- UNG doubled up Augusta in the paint, scoring 52 points inside the lane compared to 26 for the Jaguars.
