GAFFNEY, S.C. — The University of North Georgia men's basketball team fell in non-conference action to Limestone, 73-61, Tuesday evening in LC's Timkin Center. The Nighthawks slip to 2-3 on the young season following the setback.
The Saints jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first three and a half minutes of the game and, although UNG would pull within one point on two occasions late in the first half, Limestone never relinquished the advantage, holding the lead wire-to-wire.

Shaquan Cantrell and
Tyler Dominy led the Nighthawks in scoring with 15 points each.
Duke Robinson added a career-high 14 points off the bench.
- Dominy led UNG off the glass with nine rebounds on the night, just one short of a double-double.
- North Georgia worked their way to within four points on two different occasions, with the last coming with 7:07 to play in the game following at jumper by
Duke Robinson.
- UNG shot season lows from both the floor (25-of-63, 40%) and from behind the 3-point line (4-of-20, 20%).
- Shaq Dance recorded 24 points, five rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals to lead Limestone.
- Limestone improves its advantage in the all-time series against North Georgia, now standing at 5-2 all-time against the Nighthawks. The last win for UNG in the series came in Gaffney in 2014.

The Nighthawks will break for Thanksgiving before returning to action on Wednesday, Nov. 30, when they will play host to Queens (N.C.). Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. in UNG's Memorial Hall.
