Flames Rally In Second Half; Down Men’s Soccer, 3-2

DAHLONEGA | The University of North Georgia men's soccer team got out to a solid start taking a 2-1 lead into halftime but would ultimately fall to Lee, 3-2, after a second-half rally by the Flames Tuesday evening at the UNG Soccer Complex. The Nighthawks fall to 1-4-1 on the season after the tough loss.

After falling behind in the 10th minute, North Georgia evened the score in the 20th as Daniel Joyce collected a corner kick Ewain Bain that had snuck past the LU goalkeeper. UNG scored again in the 26th minute as Eddie Hurst finished a great ball from Carl Ludwig Eriksson to give the Nighthawks the 2-1 lead that they took to the half.

Just as the 20th minute was vital for North Georgia, Lee owned the 60th minute scoring a pair of goals from David Perez and Jose Orellana.
