Three Second Half Goals Push Young Harris Past UNG Men's Soccer Team, 4-1

YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | A trio of second half goals distanced host Young Harris from the University of North Georgia men's soccer team as the Nighthawks fell 4-1 on Saturday night in the team's Peach Belt Conference opener on Saturday night at YHC's Soccer & Lacrosse Field.

A 19-yard blast from Eddie Hurst with less than two minutes remaining in the first half sent the two teams into intermission tied at one apiece.

Young Harris (4-1-0, 1-0-0 PBC) scored three times in an 11-minute span early in the second half to secure the victory.

North Georgia falls to 1-4-1 overall on the season and 0-1-0 in Peach Belt Conference play.

NOTES
- The goal was Hurst's first of the season and fifth career tally for the junior forward.

- The win is Young Harris' sixth straight in the Battle of Blood Mountain series after North Georgia won the first-ever meeting between the two teams in 2011.

- Despite YHC holding a 16-7 edge in shots, both sides were able to put five of those shots on frame.
