AUGUSTA, Ga. | The University of North Georgia men's soccer team has been picked to finish ninth by the league's coaches the Peach Belt office announced Tuesday. Young Harris was the clear favorite to repeat as champions receiving eight of a possible nine first place votes.
UNG returns all but two goal scorers from last year's squad that advanced to the Peach Belt Tournament before ultimately falling to eventual champion, Young Harris.

Daniel Bowlt, who anchors the backline for the Nighthawks, was named to the preseason All-Conference team last week.
North Georgia will open its season in Miami Shores, Fla. on Sept. 3, with a 7 p.m., kickoff against Barry. The Nighthawks home opener will come a week later with a 6 p.m. kick against Tampa.
