DAHLONEGA | The University of North Georgia athletic department has announced that women's cross country runner
Brittany Truitt has been voted the UNG Campus Cash Nighthawk of the Week for Nov. 9. The weekly honor is sponsored by UNG Card Services.
The junior from Villa Rica earned a top-20 finish with a 6K time of 24:09, which was good for 19
th place at the 2015 NCAA Division II Southeast Regional where the Nighthawks finished fourth out of 27 teams.
By virtue of her top-25 finish, Truitt was named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region team for the second consecutive season.
