MONTEVALLO, Ala. | A trio of late goals pushed the No. 2-ranked University of North Georgia women's soccer team to a 4-1 Peach Belt Conference win at Montevallo on Wednesday evening at UM's Varsity Field.
After the host Falcons evened up the match at a goal apiece in the 67
th minute, the Nighthawks responded to jump back ahead just a minute later on a goal by
Jessica Allen.
North Georgia (8-0-1, 3-0-1 PBC) tacked on a pair of goals in the final 10 minutes to secure the team's eighth win of the season and extend the season's unbeaten streak to nine matches.
Montevallo falls to 1-7-2 overall and 0-4-0 in league play.
NOTES-
Jacy Ramey scored the lone goal of the first half in the 22
nd minute and would tack on her team-best sixth score of the season to cap the Nighthawks' scoring.
- Allen's goal was her first of the season.

Rachel VanHorn broke a seven-match scoreless streak when she deposited an assist from
Jade Pennock in the back of the net (81
st minute) for her first goal since the season opener on Sept. 4.
- Tonight's meeting was the tenth career meeting between the two schools with UNG wining the last seven contests and now holding an 8-1-1 all-time edge.
