Cicely Taliaferro posted her third multi-goal game of the season and provided all the power the No. 4 Nighthawks would need to take down Flagler (4-9-1, 3-4-1 Peach Belt) Saturday afternoon. UNG advances to 13-2-1 on the year with a 7-1-1 mark in PBC action.

After a scoreless first half, Taliaferro put the Nighthawks on the board in the 57th minute when she headed in a
Megan Morrow corner kick to give UNG the lead, 1-0.

While it appeared North Georgia would head home with a 1-0 victory, Taliaferro blasted a shot from 35 yards out that found the back of the net and gave UNG a 2-0 lead with less than two seconds remaining in the game.

North Georgia outshot the Saints 23-3 with a 12-1 advantage in shots on goal.

Mallory Sayre recorded her fifth shutout of the season, collecting one save. The UNG keeper is now 13-2-1 on the year.

The Nighthawks will finish out the road portion of their regular season slate on Wednesday when the travel to Greenwood, South Carolina to take on Lander. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m.
