The University of North Georgia features some of the finest athletic facilities in NCAA Division II, including state-of-the-art FieldTurf playing surfaces at the UNG Athletic Complex for baseball, softball and soccer, Coleman Field House, and the newest basketball arena in Division II, the state-of-the-art UNG Convocation Center.
In 2020, Formetco video boards were added at all three outdoor facilities - baseball, softball and soccer.
In early 2017, UNG opened its seventh on-campus athletic facility with the unveiling of the Indoor Practice Facility.
Three Nighthawk programs find their homes in top facilities not far from UNG’s Dahlonega campus as men’s and women’s tennis practices and competes at the nearby UNG Tennis Complex at Yahoola Creek, the men’s and women’s golf programs practices and competes at Achasta Golf Club, and the cross country program hosts meets at the UNG Cross Country Course located on the university’s Gainesville campus.
