University of North Georgia Athletics

Mackenzie Trame enters her first year at the University of North Georgia as the Assistant to the Athletic Director, providing administrative and operational support to the Director of Athletics and department staff.

A native of St. Joseph, Illinois, Trame graduated from Clemson University in May 2026 with a bachelor’s degree in management. While at Clemson, she gained administrative experience as a student assistant with Clemson Libraries and completed internships with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and the Greenville Drive. With the AAU, she supported large-scale event planning and logistics for national sporting events and served as the lead intern for the AAU Volleyball Junior National Championships. Her experience with the Greenville Drive included game day and special event operations, as well as marketing and partnerships.

Mackenzie was drawn to a career in collegiate athletics through her lifelong involvement in sports and an interest in the work behind the scenes. She enjoys supporting student-athletes and staff while helping create positive experiences for teams, fans and campus communities.

Outside of work, Mackenzie enjoys staying active, spending time with friends and family, exploring new places and attending sporting events.
