David Trotter enters his third year on staff with Nighthawk Athletics. He arrived in Dahlonega in September of 2024 following a year as the Director of Graphic Design & Photography at Lenoir-Rhyne.
He was a member of the 2024-25 Peach Belt Conference Staff of the Year.
At L-R, Trotter was a vital piece in Lenoir-Rhyne's marketing and social media strategy. He photographed and created graphics for all 23 LR sports, which included softball's run to the NCAA semifinals, men's lacrosse's National Championship appearance, football's national semifinal appearance and women's soccer's Elite Eight run.
Trotter assisted with content generation and planning for all sports. His portfolio includes individual/team graphics, gameday graphics, motion graphics for videoboards, score graphics, marketing materials, schedule posters, media guide covers, etc.
Prior to L-R, Trotter gained experience as the Anderson men’s basketball social media assistant and marketing student worker in the athletic department. He was also a member of the Creative Team as a Video Production intern at New City Church in Charlotte.
Originally from Charlotte, N.C., Trotter graduated from Anderson (S.C.) with a degree in Communications.
