Biography
How Dishman got to UNG
Aubrey Dishman, a native of in Carrollton, Ga., came to Dahlonega in 2024 after an impressive high school career. In cross country she held a 20:30.81 pace in the 5000-meter run. In track & field, Dishman made school history in the final race of her high school career, breaking the Carrollton HS record with a time of 2:16.27 in the 800-meter dash. During high school, Dishman became aware of UNG and its running program under head coach Crhis England and she reached out to England to show interest in becoming a Nighthawk. After an official visit, she said "UNG stood out because of its beauty and nice people" and promptly committed to UNG.
