How Veil got to UNG
Emma Veil joined UNG in 2025 as a freshman from Rivers Academy. At Rivers, Veil was a three-time Georgia Independent Athletic Association (GIAA) State Champion, winning the tournament in three straight years in 2023, 2024 and 2025. Her team's success culminated in 2025 when Rivers won the National High School Golf Association (NHGSA) National Invitational. Veil also succeeded away from the course individually. She was a member of the National Honor Society from 2022-25 and graduated from Rivers with honors. Veil was also given the 2023 Atlanta Athletic Club Mentorship Award.
