How Mount got to UNG
Cora Mount joined the Nighthawk women's golf program in 2024 as a junior transfer after competing at NAIA member Tennessee Wesleyan for two seasons. The Chattanooga, Tenn. native had eight top-15 and three top-5 finishes with the Bulldogs as a sophomore season. She made headlines as the individual champion of the Alice Lloyd Invite with rounds of 78 and 81 to take the crown. Mount averaged 79.8 strokes over 19 rounds in her second season of collegiate golf. As a freshman, she averaged 83 strokes over five rounds as her season was highlighted by a T3 finish at the 2022 Ladies Point Fall Invite. After committing to UNG, Mount said, "After I met coach Campbell, I knew UNG was going to be the school I needed to be at. The first time I met coach Campbell, she made UNG feel like home."
