Newman High School: Rainwater was a highly-decorated player in both basketball and soccer earning Cardinal Newman's Female Athlete-of-the-Year as a senior in 2012 ... member of the prestigious 1,000-Point Club, she was a four-time South Carolina Independent School Assocation (SCISA) All-Region selection and earned Region Player-of-the-Year honors in 2010 ... the three-year tam captain was named to the High School Sports Report All-State Girls SCISA Basketball Team three times (2010-12) ... was named The State's (paper) SCISA All-Area Player-of-the-Year as well as her team's MVP as she was a three-time All-Area selection as nominated by the State ... her team advanced to the SCISA State Tournament in 2012 where she earned All-Tournament team honors ... on the soccer pitch, she was named a National Soccer Coaches Assocaition of America Girls High School Scholar All-American in 2011 and was named to the All-South Team as well as the SCISA All-State Goalkeeper-of-the-Year ... a four-time All-Area selection in soccer as a keeper, Rainwater was also named the SCISA All-Region Goalkeeper-of-the-Year three times (2009-11) and was a four-time All-State selection (2009-12) and earned numerous other awards in soccer ... away from athletics, she was the President of her National Honor Society as a senior and was an active member of the Spanish Club, Student-Athlete Advisory Council and Pep Club.
