2011-12 (Freshman): As a true freshman, Sims started 15 of the 26 games she appeared in, averaging 22.3 minutes per contest ... She finished the season averaging 6.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game as she tallied 159 total points and 151 rebounds ... She shot 40.5 percent (66-163) from the field and also had 24 steals and nine blocks ... Four times she finished with double-figure points ncluding netting her season-high of 17 points twice ... She first reached 17 points in a 64-62 road victory over Young Harris (1/14) when she also had eight rebounds ... She once again tallied 17 points in a Jan. 25 game against Armstrong Atlantic State but this time she came just one rebound away from a double-double ... She recorded her first collegiate double-double in just her fourth collegiate game, a Nov. 26 game against Tusculum where she scored 16 points and brought down 10 boards.

Milton High School: Sims was a three-sport athlete in high school and was named her basketball team's Best Offensive Player during her senior campaign ... She was named to the Region 6AAAAA All-Region team as an honorable mention as she helped lead the Eagles to a birth in the Georgia State Tournament's "Elite Eight" ... She was named Most Valuable Player of the Disney Classic Tournament ... Prior to her time at Milton High School, Sims played three years at Heritage High School and earned Region 8-AAAA All-Region honorable mention honors and was named the team's Best Offensive Player.

Personal: Her twin sister Truvanni is also a member of the Saints' women's basketball program.
