Niaya White begins her first season at North Georgia as a women's basketball graduate assistant after playing three seasons at Peach Belt foe Young Harris. White began her college career at Hampton University before transferring to Florida Southwestern College and then to Young Harris. 

During her time at Young Harris, White made 67 starts in her career and led the Mountain Lions in scoring with 13.3 points and 4.4 rebounds in the 2019-20 season, earning PBC All-Conference honors. 

White, a native of St. Petersburg, Fla., played high school basketball at Calvary Christian, where she earned All-County and All-Suncoast honors in her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. White finished her high school career by earning All-State honors her senior season.
