In her first season, Johnson appeared in 39 games for the Nighthawks, starting in six of them. She posted a .267 batting average in 30 at-bats to go along with eight hits, 16 runs scored and seven RBIs. 

The Road to UNG 
Johnson attended Walnut Grove High School in Walton County, Ga. In 2021, she was named to the Region 8AAAAA All-Region First Team.
