How Sutherlin got to UNG
Alison Sutherlin has made the 1,961 mile trek from Belgrade, Mont. to join the UNG rifle program for her freshman season. Sutherlin hails from Belgrade High School where she was a Sharpshooting Champion at the 2024 National Rifle Assocation (NRA) National Open Sectional. Sutherlin was a prominent member of the  Gallatin County 4-H & Gallatin Valley Sharp Shooters before joining UNG this season. She also participated in softball, volleyball, soccer and dance growing up.
