The Latest on Castellanos
Marcos Castellanos is back in Dahlonega for his second season after an impressive freshman campaign last year. The Guatemalan collected 12 wins and only nine losses in his first season of collegiate tennis. He primarily filled the #5 spot in head coach Kent Norsworthy's lineup and went 10-8 when slotted there. Castellanos maintained his 12-9 record in doubles as well, teaming up with Giulio Sassi for 10 wins in the #2 doubles spot. Shining off the court as well, Castellanos was named a 2024 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athlete last season.
