How Beasley got to UNG
Lleyton Beasley joined the Nighthawks in 2024 as a freshman from Athens, Ga. Before UNG, Beasley graduated North Oconee High School where he was the Athens Area Player of the Year in both 2022 and 2023. He was rated as one of the top tennis players nationally and in the state of Georgia. Tennis Recruiting Network ranked him as the No. 11 tennis player in the Peach State his senior year. Beasley comes from a family of collegiate athletics as his father, Russell, played football at the University of Georgia from 1985-1988. Beasley said the togetherness of the team and program helped him commit to the Nighthawks.
