The Road to UNG
Martin joins North Georgia after spending the last two years at Southern Union State Community College at the NJCAA Division I level. In her two seasons with the Bison, she appeared in 59 games, starting nine, and recorded 69 RBIs on 93 hits with 21 home runs and a .460 batting average. Martin was named to the Alabama Community College Conference All-Tournament Team in both the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Martin was also named a 2025 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American. Martin said, “Coach O'Hair came to watch one of my games and Southern Union and invited me on a visit here at North Georgia. I fell in love with the campus and the atmosphere, I knew North Georgia was gonna be my new home before I left from my visit.”
Martin was also a standout two-way player at Haralson County High School. During her high school career, she broke the school record for career hits, career batting average, and career home runs. She also broke the school pitching record for ERA, career strikeouts, and shutouts. Martin was named to the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Region 7-AA All-Region First Team all four years in high school.

Born on July 6, 2005, Martin is a native of Tallapoosa, Ga. She is the daughter of Thomas Martin and Melissa Chandler and has three siblings, Chandler, Chase and Jarrett. She is pursuing a degree in Health Informatics and Administration.
