Previous School – Played two seasonsunder Coach Travis McClanahan at Gordon Junior College where hestarted all 52 games in the 2008-2009 season and had team highs inhits, doubles and RBIs…hit for a .383 average with 75 hitsin 196 at-bats…scored 50 runs and connected for 20doubles…drove in 52 RBIs…member of the All-ConferenceSecond Team in 2008 and 2009.

High School – Played baseball for head coach StevenPhillips at Dutchtown High School…named All-State BestOffensive Player in 2005…recipient of Defensive andOffensive MVP in 2007.

Personal – Son of Susan and LawrencePope…has sister and brother, Meghann and
Jake…majoring in Physical Education.
