Jeremie Tice

Jeremie Tice joined the University of North Georgia baseball coaching staff beginning with the 2015 season after spending the last six seasons playing professionally with the Cleveland Indians organization.  In 2015, he served head coach Tom Cantrell as a student assistant and became a graduate assistant in the 2016 season.

He graduated from Dacula High School in 2005 after winning All-County and All-Region honors along with being named a Georgia Top-400 club member. 

From there, Tice went on to Tallahassee Community College where he enjoyed a successful two years playing for the Eagles.  Tice hit a cumulative .369 with 16 home runs and 97 RBIS and was was drafted by the Florida Marlins in 2006 and 2007. 

He was also named to the Panhandle 1st Team All-Conference both years and was also a JUCO All-American both years as well.  Tice played his final collegiate season in 2008 for the College of Charleston.  In his one season at College of Charleston, Tice hit .393 with 25 home runs and 83 RBI's.  He was named to the Southern Conference 1st Team and was also the 2008 Southern Conference Player of the Year.  He was named a Louisville Slugger 1st Team All-American. 

After the 2008 season, Tice was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the sixth round.  During his time with the Indians, Tice played with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, Lake County Captains, Kinston Indians and the Zebulon Mudcats.  He was named a Carolina Mid-Season All-Star in 2012 while playing for the Mudcats. 

Tice will work with the hitters as well as the outfielders on a daily basis.  He currently resides in Suches with his wife Stephanie and his son Trenton and is working toward his Master's degree in Physical Education.Â
