Clickner is entering his ninth season as an assistant coach at the University of North Georgia and his fourth season as the program’s pitching coach and recruiting coordinator. During his time on staff at North Georgia, Clickner has helped to direct the Nighthawks to three Peach Belt Conference Regular Season Championships in 2015, 2017 and 2019 as well as a NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Runner-up finish in 2015 and an NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Championship in 2017 and subsequent NCAA Division II Baseball Championship appearance. 

In his three seasons as the pitching coach, North Georgia pitchers have been recognized as All-Conference award winners four times and All-Region Award winners three times. Last season as a pitching staff, North Georgia was ranked fifth nationally in walks per nine innings and ranked 12th nationally in strikeout to walk ratio. Along with his duties as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator, Clickner also assists in the everyday operations of the baseball program as well as camp operations. 

Prior to his time on the coaching staff, Clickner played four seasons at North Georgia as a right-handed pitcher. The Dacula, Georgia, native logged 26.2 innings in 11 appearances and struck out 16 batters in his last season. 

Clickner graduated from North Georgia in 2012 with his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education with a teacher certification. He completed his Master’s Degree in 2014 with his M.S. in Physical Education.

Clickner married his wife, Lauren, in 2016 and together they have two children, Nora and Titus.
